Q: Is your brass new or fired?

A: We only sell fired casings. These casings are sorted by caliber and by color. We try to discard any cracked or bent casings or casings that are too stained. We do not process the brass. There may be a case where the brass comes in from an agency and is dirty or stained and we will put it in our tumblers.

Q: Is the brass from the same lot number?

A: We can’t guarantee that it is all from the same lot. Law Enforcement agencies use large amounts of ammunition and may order from different manufacturers at different times.

Q: What is your availability of products?

A: We purchase our fired brass from law enforcement agencies therefore the availability of the brass varies depending on the frequency of shipments we receive from the departments. If we do not have some items available we will send you an email stating that we are out of stock at that time. We can place these items on backorder or you may choose to cancel your order at that time. We do not run credit cards until the day the order is processed.

Q: Method of Payment?

A: You may pay with a Bank Cashier’s check, Postal Money Order, Master Card, Visa, or Discover.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: Sales: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm CST. Currently closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: Unfortunately we do not ship internationally.

Q: What method of shipping do you use?

A: We use UPS ground.

Q: Do your prices include shipping charges?

A: No. Shipping charges will be calculated in house by weight and zip code and are NOT computed on the website or in the shopping cart. The UPS costs are shown separately on your invoice. If you need to know the shipping charges before completing your order please call us at 800-478-3160 for a “shipping quote”.

Q: Do you charge sales tax?

A: Our store charges the applicable Tennessee Sales Tax (.0925) for all orders shipped in Tennessee. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales tax or other taxes.

Q: Can I return my products:

A: No returns without written consent. Claims must be made within 5 days after receipt of goods. Return shipping charges will be at the expense of the customer unless there was an error on our part. Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Q: What is the warranty on the “Brass Buggy Machine”?

A: Southern Belle Brass, Inc. warrants the “Brass Buggy Machine” against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase and agrees to replace any part or parts which SBB determines to be defective. This warranty is conditional on receipt of defective part or parts shipped back to Southern Belle Brass prepaid. This warranty does not cover damage resulting in any way from misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care or modification of the product.
